Need to pray? 5€, please.
Posted by Fulvio | Filed under Blog
I am not a religious person.
I don’t know if I should consider myself a pure Atheist, since now and then I do wonder who or what might be behind the creation of our universe and everything I care about, but let’s just say, the Church and their silly propaganda never managed to convince me in the slightest.
Even worse, when I see scenarios like the one in the picture below, it makes my stomach twist in anger like nothing else:

Apologies for the flash, but I had no chance to take another picture (I was almost kicked out for doing this).
What you see here is the entrance of the Cathedral of Our Lady, in Antwerp, Belgium.
Going in more detail, this is a CASH DESK positioned at the entrance of the Cathedral, charging everyone that wanted to enter the church five euros.
Now, am I the only one that thinks this is immoral, disgusting, and just painfully wrong?
I don’t care if the maintenance  of the Church costs 1.5 million euros per year.
Ask the vatican for support, or let the priests do the maintenance  themselves like the Benedictine monks do in their monasteries, instead of charging people for their right to pray in the house of a God they believe in.
Shame  on you all.
In other news, this was the only bad element of an otherwise fantastic weekend spent with my girlfriend, we drove all the way to the medieval town of Bouillon, spent there the night  and then visited Antwerp on our way back.
Will add pictures on my Facebook page soon!
“We did not know that child abuse was a crime” says archbishop Weakland
Posted by Fulvio | Filed under Blog
When I read this kind of stuff I really have an inner instinct for getting a baseball bat and bring some justice into this sick world.
The dickead on the left is mr Rembert G Weakland, ex archibishop and ex (I hope) child abuser, which we can all remember for saying such glorious quotes:
We all considered sexual abuse of minors as a moral evil, but had no understanding of its criminal nature.
Right. Well, yes, mr Weakland, raping little kids is a criminal offense. Who would have ever imagined?
Oh and wait, he also adds that he:
Accepted naively the common view that it was not necessary to worry about the effects on the youngsters: either they would not remember or they would ‘grow out of it’.
So it is ok because they would NOT REMEMBER? GROW OUT OF IT?
I mean, how can this person still be alive?
Is there any justice left in this world?

The Vatican says: Italian laws won’t be accepted anymore
Posted by Fulvio | Filed under Blog
According to the “Osservatore Romano“, the Vatican won’t be automatically accepting Italian Laws anymore within its boundaries.
Now, may I suggest that in this case, they GET THE HELL OUT OF ROME and move somewhere else (maybe Greenland, as promoted by this Facebook group)?
I think they have occupied Roman soil and showered the Italian people with their crap long enough.
