WoWTactics for iPhone

In a pathetic effort of blunt, shameless advertising, I am going to publish the promotional video of WoWTactics, our most successful iPhone application.
WoWTactics is sold trough the iPhone app store, and if you own an iPhone / iPod Touch and play World of Warcraft you should totally buy it because:
  1. It’s cool
  2. I helped making it
  3. 20% of the earnings we make will be devolved to a charity that helps kittens getting machine guns mounted on their backs
  4. I am getting money for it, which are regularly invested in beer, videogames and drugs (well joking about the drugs, but hey, I live in Amsterdam after all)
  5. It will give you 2% more chanches of getting laid if you show it to a girl, providing she likes you, she plays World of Warcraft, she is half drunk and she wants to have sex with you.

Ok alright, enough crap talk … enjoy the video! :)

Free Wii controller case from Nintendo, yey!

WiimoteThe Nintendo Wii is an incredibly fun gaming console but, as shown in the “Wii Have a Problem” website, it can be dangerous if used without the due precautions.
I personally witnessed my friend Andrea nearly atomizing his thumb finger by smashing it on the wall while playing a match of Wii Sports Bowling, and trust me, it wasn’t that fun anymore.
Anyway, Nintendo is kindly offering to all Wii owners free protective casings, in an effort to reduce injuries caused by flying Wii controllers.
If you live in Italy, you can get yours here (I ordered four, oops :D ): http://wii.nintendo.it/22809.html

How to ruin your reputation in 1:25 using a Paris Hilton wannabe

I have always admired Nintendo.
Since I was little I have always seen the Japanese brand as a synonym of quality gaming products and top entertainment.
This until today, when a friend sent me a Youtube link to the new advert for the next-generation console, the Nintendo Wii:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zq71KsfnjSk
Erm … did I see something similar before?
(Hint: YES.)
Not commenting the fact that the Apple adverts are extremely funny and well elaborated while the Nintendo one only gives you a deep desire to shot the retarded blonde girl impersonating the Wii on the face, the true question is, why not creating something original?
Was it really necessary to recycle someone else’s ideas to this level and by doing so join the club of the copycat monkeys led by Microsoft?
