Windows 7 Starter Edition

Ok, it is official, Microsoft has finally gone nuts.
There are rumors that the Starter Edition of the upcoming Microsoft 7 will only support THREE applications at once.
That’s right, once you try opening a fourth application the following popup will appear:

too-many-programs-open

Now, how wonderful is this? To make things even better, I have some hints for uncle Ballmer to make this release even more successful:

  • Limit the number of simultaneous colors on screen to 4096 (Ahhh, the good old Amiga 500 times)
  • No more than 10 mouse clicks per minute
  • Maximum 2 hours of continuous usage, then the computer switches itself off for 30 minutes (without warning of course)
  • No more than 1 USB device connected at any given time
  • Only mono audio output trough speakers
  • All files saved from installed programs self-destruct after 24 hours

And the list could go on…
