Goodbye, Rome

Well, it is pretty much official now, I am going to move abroad on the 1st of December.
I am not going to say farewell to my country (if you have read my previous entries on this blog you can probably understand why), but I am surely going to miss my beloved city, Rome, and my good friends and family.
Which, of course, are more than welcome to come visit me whenever they want in my new home! ;P

Alitalia

I wonder if they really think they can save it?
Guys, it’s over. Deal with it.
The more you drag it, the more ashamed you make Italy appear in the eyes of the international media.
You have been running this company Italian-style for the last 60 years, enjoying ridiculously high salaries and absurd benefits.
Guess what? The fairy-tale is now over.
Good luck to all the pilots and crew assistants with their new jobs, with flight companies that actually know how to run a business.

Gotta love spammers

I mean, you guys found the time to spoof the referrer of my “recent visitors” page to insert your dirty links in there?

Wow, you must be quite desperate indeed.
I have now changed the code of the recent visitors plugin to add a rel=”nofollow” attribute to all hyperlinks, so that you won’t get any Google PageRank bonus no matter how many fake referrer links you put in there.
I suggest anybody with the same problem to do the same, what these guys do is spam as many sites as they can with links to their hosts, so that when GoogleBot crawls your pages it will give them a PageRank bonus and they will appear up in the search results.
The rel=”nofollow” attribute prevents this from happening.
