Fox is a mouthpiece for Rupert Murdoch and the US Republican party. I think the main fault of the other news channels -- even more than being US-centric or having a news-cycle herd instinct -- is their failing to appropriately vet facts in trying to look "fair". Specifically, look at how they report on creationism or intelligent design. In trying to be fair, they give the impression that intelligent design has equal footing as a theory as evolution. In the same arena, examine how they're handling Sarah Palin's political history and the current McCain ad content with kid gloves. (US Republican VP/P candidates).
