I think the main fault of the other news channels -- even more than being US-centric or having a news-cycle herd instinct -- is their failing to appropriately vet facts in trying to look &quot;fair&quot;.  Specifically, look at how they report on creationism or intelligent design.  In trying to be fair, they give the impression that intelligent design has equal footing as a theory as evolution.

In the same arena, examine how they&#039;re handling Sarah Palin&#039;s political history and the current McCain ad content with kid gloves. (US Republican VP/P candidates).</description>
