It is VERY uncommon for me to praise Microsoft, and well, I don’t think it ever happened before and next time could be in like 50 years or something, but what they did with their Live Earth service is utterly amazing.
Their “bird’s eye” photographic scans of most world cities is going to leave most people stunned.
I think the best way to show how this is a total winner compared to Google Earth is by linking a screenshot of the house I lived in while I was in staying in Oxford, taken directly from there.
Or you could visit the Colosseum.
What is the next step? Are they going to zoom in our bedrooms too???
