140 million dollars for… this?
Now, in italy we got this saying that basically goes like: “Non e’ bello cio che e’ bello, e’ bello cio che piace.”
Which basically means that art and beauty in general is subjective.
Well, today I read my daily news and I figure out that THIS Pollock “thing” (I refuse to call it painting) sold in an auction for 140 million dollars.
Instead of wasting ONE HUNDRED AND FOURTY MILLION DOLLARS for this piece of useless junk called “art” (LOL), mister David Martinez, would it not have been a better investiment to give that amount of cash for AIDS or Cancer research?
Or to buy tons of good food for starving children in Africa?
Or to get yourself a brain transplant?
Think about it.
